Avetlist exists because finding authorized wholesale distributors is harder than it should be — and the tools that exist are built for enterprise buyers, not individual Amazon sellers.
The problem we kept running into
Building an Amazon wholesale business means finding authorized distributors — companies officially permitted to sell branded products that you can then resell on Amazon. Finding them requires searching trade directories, verifying dealer portals, confirming brand authorization, and checking Amazon compatibility signals. Across hundreds of distributors. Manually.
Most sellers spend weeks on this before placing a single application. Many give up. The ones who succeed either have industry connections or spend months building a sourcing pipeline from scratch.
We decided to do that research once — properly — and make it available to every seller who needs it.
What we built
Avetlist is a directory of 21,000+ verified USA wholesale distributors, each scored on 15+ wholesale signals: dedicated dealer portals, authorized distributor language, FBA compatibility, brand authorization indicators, application requirements, and more.
Every distributor is filtered by state and category — so a Beauty seller in Michigan gets a completely different directory from a Tools seller in Texas. There are over 250 unique state × category combinations. Your distributors are your distributors.
We also built the resources we wish we had when we started: a 12-chapter sourcing guide covering applications, email templates, ungating strategy, and distributor terminology — and a professional application tracker for managing the follow-up workflow that most sellers forget about.
