How the check works
We run the company name or website against the same 15+ B2B infrastructure signals used to vet every one of the 21,000+ distributors in our directory - authorized distributor language, a dedicated wholesale portal, pricing kept behind an application, and Amazon seller restrictions.
It also shows three infrastructure signals: how long the company's website has been online based on certificate transparency logs, whether its SSL certificate is currently valid and when it was issued, and whether business email is configured on the domain.
A score of 60 or above means strong wholesale signals appeared in public sources. Below 60, fewer signals appeared, which often means less information is published online rather than anything being wrong. Below 40, or if we haven't indexed the company yet, we don't publish a result - that's a gap in our data, not a verdict on the business.
